NPR's Monkey See blog has a list of The Ten Most Sorkin Things In The Trailer while The Guardian has a short write-up saying The Newsroom trailer hints at a new pessimism from Aaron Sorkin.

Meanwhile, I've made six icons from the trailer that you're free to snag. They're all Will, since the trailer was pretty Will-heavy.

I agree, and this especially:

I'm thinking Nancy Grace and her missing-white-girl obsession here -- I could easily see a sort of "how dare you do something bad to this sweet, innocent little blonde girl" sentiment causing the video of Will's rant to go viral and driving a PR crisis for him and his network.

There's another element, too, which is the kind of protected, privileged girl who publishes a lot of objectionable stuff in a college newspaper or on YouTube — there have been a number of these in the last couple of years. And who does she become as an adult? But I have the feeling that level of social comment is not what's going on here.

The fundamental conflict between a man's idealism and his utterly obnoxious and insufferable personality.

...I really don't even need to say anything here, do I?
